Sugar time

This great snowshoeing excursion is for those who want to revisit the sugar time! Our usual forest BBQ formula has been revisited to allow you to discover a 100% forest menu inspired by sugar time!


On this guided hike, punctuated by frequent stops, our guide will lead you through the forest of the Abbey revealing all its secrets. The hike lasts about 2 hours and you will be directed to an exceptional site to enjoy a tasty meal 100% forest and warm up around a good fire.

Full moon in the forest

On 18 March, you will have the chance to discover the Abbey Forest in a different way during a walk in a unique atmosphere. Illuminated by the light of the full moon, let our expert guide show you our magnificent forest. At the end of the hike, you will be directed to an exceptional site for a break to enjoy a tasty 100% forest BBQ and warm up around a good fire.

Mussels & fries

This snowshoe hike is for those who want a unique gourmet experience. The hike lasts about 1 hour and you will be directed to an exceptional site for a break to enjoy a tasty meal featuring the famous mussel and French fry duo. Chef Josée Miller (Marcheur des bois) revisits this meal by adding a 100% forest touch!

The activity is 100% refundable. A confirmation of cancellation will be sent to you by email.


Less than 7 days before the date of your event

Activities that involve food are non-refundable

Activities that do NOT involve food, can be credited up to 96 hours before the date of your activity.

Activities take place rain or shine. Candidates should dress accordingly.

They may be delayed or postponed to the next day if the weather conditions are not favourable.


The postponed gourmet activities will take place the following day at the same time

The Abbey Store reserves the right to cancel a workshop up to the day before it is due to take place if the minimum number of participants is not reached or the weather conditions are not favourable.
